Nestled in the green of the beautiful Florentine hills, amidst olive trees, is the Il Sottolo farmhouse. The agriturismo is just a stone's throw from Florence, and is the perfect place to rest and cool off after a day spent exploring the historic center.

You will find more than an acre of garden and the fantastic swimming pool nestled among the olive trees.

The accommodation

The property has 3 apartments for two to three people, each with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and bedroom.

Inside each apartment are TV, air conditioner, coffee maker, kettle, hair dryer, bed linen and towels.

 

Activities and surrounding

It is possible to buy home-producedextra virgin olive oil and, depending on seasonal availability, fruit and vegetables.

Upon request, it is possible to rent bicycles, also with pedaling assistance, to explore the farmhouse surroundings or to reach the city center. Alternatively, to reach the historic center by public transportation, you can take the T1 line of the tramway from "Careggi Opsedale" for ten stops to "Alamanni Stazione," from which you can walk to all the main attractions of the city in less than half an hour.

Various tours of Florence and the surrounding area can be arranged upon request, with guide Martina. There will be a price list directly in the apartment.

The nearest supermarket is Conad City at Via Luigi michelazzi 4, and it is only a 15-minute drive to the shopping center in Sesto Fiorentino.

The farmhouse is one kilometer from Piazza Giovanni Meyer and 10 kilometers fromPeretola Airport.

Spacious, well-furnished and clean accommodations. Helpful and friendly staff. In the middle of nature but a short walk from the center of Florence and the airport. Highly recommended!!!
