The agriturismo

The farmhouse with swimming pool is located in Chianti, about 20 km from Florence and 40 km from Siena. The panorama and the sunsets you can enjoy are unforgettable: it is located at the highest point of the panoramic road that leads from Castello di Bibbione to Tignanello.

The Torriano applies completely organic farming methods.

The accommodation

The farmhouse offers every comfort and wide spaces both inside and outside. The structure consists of the farm where the owners live and the apartments for guests with accommodation for 2, 4, 5 or 6 people. The accommodations are independent and surrounded by greenery.

The apartments have been recently renovated and are equipped with heating, fans or air conditioning (Torriano 2). Each apartment consists of: a fully equipped kitchen with dishes and appliances (dishwasher, oven, microwave, washing machine, etc.), bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and anoutdoor space,private and furnished (loggia, pergola or gazebo).

 

The swimming pool (6x12m) is surrounded by a large lawn with fruit trees : pear, fig, apricot, plum, peach and quince trees.
In the solarium there are
wooden sunbeds available for guests. The swimming pool is completely fenced in, for the safety of children, and is available to guests.

Activities and surrounding

The Farm has about 70 hectares of which 30 of Chianti Classico Gallo Nero vineyards and the rest of olive groves and woods, populated by wildlife such as roe deer, wild boar, pheasants, etc., produces the wines of La Sala, as well as an excellent extra virgin olive oil Chianti Classico DOP.

Upon request, guests are offered a visit to the winery and a FREE tasting of our products.

 

The farmhouse is about 700 meters from the village of Montefiridolfi where there is a small supermarket, a newsagent, stationery shop, a hairdresser and a small trattoria where you can taste the excellent Tuscan cuisine.

 

Guests can entertain themselves playing ping-pongorwalking along the road from Bibbione to Tignanello, through the woods or from La Sala to Montelupo. It is possible to go on bike rides (for rent).

 

Florence, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and Arezzo are easily reachable.
