The agriturismo
La Piazza is a family-run farmhouse in the heart of Chianti. The farm has been producing oil and wine formore than 50 years.
It offers an apartment, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It is part of the family house and overlooks a huge, fenced garden. Every kind of comfort welcomes the guest, who in no way will be bored.
On request, homemade cakes and biscuits are prepared. Irene, who runs the farmhouse, lives on the upper floor of the apartment and is available if necessary and with great discretion.
The accommodation
The apartment consists of a large living room at the entrance, where you will find a practical sofa bed. The living room is also equipped with TV, heating, household accessories.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven and a dishwasher and supplied with utensils and all basic accessories. The bathroom is equipped with shower and bathtub.
The room is furnished with taste and simplicity.
The accommodation is suitable for every need and accommodates from a minimum of one person to a maximum of 4 occupants.
On request, it is possible to use a washing machine for the exclusive use of the apartment.
From the loggia at the entrance you have access to the garden located in an excellent position, discreet and isolated, where you can relax with a good glass of wine produced
by the company, in the shade of the olive trees, or enjoy the sun swinging in the hammock
.
The apartment is for exclusive use. Guests are free to explore the entire property, the olive groves and the fields.
Activities and surrounding
The farm is located in a village in the province of Florence, in an excellent position to visit in about half an hour's drive many places of historical and cultural interest such as Florence (25 km), Siena (25 km), San Gimignano, Volterra , Certaldo (10 km) and Monteriggioni (20 km).
The strength of the apartment is its location, suitable for any type of need, for those who want to be immersed in the peace of the countryside lulled only by the sounds of nature or for those who want to have a base from which to reach any other place in a very short time, including supermarkets and shopping centers or restaurants, gyms or swimming pools .
To be able to move is important to have your own means of transport. At 800m you can find a minimarket where you can buy the necessary to prepare meals at home.
Restaurants are reachable in 5min. For breakfast we prepare, on request, homemade cakesor biscuits .
Hot air balloon rides are organized in the area. There is a riding stable nearby.
Parking for the car is located in front of the house.
