The accommodation
The farmhouse welcomes its guests in a typical 19th-century sharecropper house with a picturesque panoramic view that has remained unchanged over time.
The property consists of a swimming pool, tennis court and 6 cozy apartments completely renovated and furnished in style:
Cecco is a first-floor apartment with living room fireplace, satellite TV, kitchenette, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large panoramic terrace.
Beppe is on two floors and includes: living room with kitchenette, satellite TV, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 single bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 service.
Dante is on two floors and includes: living room with kitchenette, satellite TV, double bedroom, triple bedroom with single beds, 2 bathrooms.
Gigi includes: ground floor with garden and second floor, living room with fireplace and kitchenette, satellite TV, 2 double bedrooms and bathroom.
Dino includes: ground floor, living room with kitchenette, satellite TV, double bedroom and bathroom.
Finally Piero, on the ground floor, includes living kitchen, satellite TV, double bedroom, single bedroom, bathroom.
The large garden offers equipped scenic corners under the shade of centuries-old trees under which to relax while reading. A large threshing floor in original terracotta tiles is the ideal setting for moments of friendship and conviviality. The farm produces Chianti wine,oil and grappa.
To help protect the environment, the managers heat water through twelve solar thermal panels, reducing the use of petroleum gas by 50 percent.
Activities and surrounding
The swimming pool and tennis court, both in a scenic location, provide two unique opportunities to play sports on the farm. In addition to this it is possible to play ping pong, bocce, go out on mountain bikes. Children, within the garden, are offered an equipped playground surrounded by greenery and sheltered from the sun. Passion for craft traditions, such as the art of basketry and olive harvesting, is preserved.
The farmhouse is located on a ridge between theVal d'Elsa and Val di Pesa along a road that the BBC has called among the most beautiful in the world. It is ideally located for art history lovers because it is 25 km from Florence, 40 km from Siena, 15 km from San Gimignano, 20 km from Vinci, 10Km from Certaldo, about 60 km from Pisa and Lucca.
In the surroundings of the farmhouse there are numerous medieval and Renaissance castles, historical evidence of the social and productive structure of this part of Tuscany; inside them you can listen to unforgettable classical music concerts.
