The agriturismo
On an estate of 6 hectares, on a farm producing organic fruit and vegetables, the agriturismo combines a warm welcome with a love of music: the owner is an internationally renowned opera singer who treats the agriturismo?s guests to opera concerts in a specially renovated room on the ground floor of the nineteenth century farmhouse.
The accommodation
The house has been renovated with total respect for the environment and the wellbeing of its guests, using lime for plaster and painting. Electricity and warm water are generated using solar panels and a wood burner provides the heating.
The guest apartment occupies the upper floor: with independent entrance, private garden, barbecue and access to the swimming pool, the apartment has 4 bedrooms, a large lounge with an original working open fireplace, a dining room with a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms.
From the inground swimming pool, reserved for use by guests only, you can enjoy views of the enchanting Valdarno Valley. A shuttle service is available to/from airports and stations.
As well as participating in musical soirées, guests can also enjoy homemade pizzas made from naturally raised dough, baked in a wood-burning oven from the start of the twentieth century.
