The agriturismo
Located in Scansano, on the ancient salt road, and surrounded by age-old vineyards and olive groves, Etruscan and Roman ruins and medieval villages perched on hills, this traditional Maremma-style farmhouse offers relaxation in a well-kept, ecologically-sustainable environment.
The accommodation
The farm consists of stone houses renovated, built in the nineteenth century to compose a small village, currently made up of four large bedrooms - each in stand-alone buildings - from an apartment, a kitchen at the disposal of the rooms and a large garden with a covered pergola with a barbecue, as well as the owner house.
The cozy rooms have been furnished by Furica and Arrigo, who have tried to respect the rustic and traditional typical Maremma using for the restoration materials such as copper, iron, wood and canvas.
The two rooms overlooking the garden, surrounded by silence, are decorated with tiled floors and ceilings with exposed beams.
Since the spring of 2014 is available to all our guests a brand new swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas and a spectacular view of the valley of the Albegna.
The swimming pool was built by applying the latest technology available: the water is slightly salty and this allows less use of chlorine, while safeguarding the needs of health and hygiene safety.
Its dimensions (14 × 4) allow you to swim easily.
