The agriturismo

The agritourism is situated in strategic position along the road connecting Grosseto to Marina di Grosseto’s andCastiglione della Pescaia’s shores; a five minute car ride is sufficient to reach both seaside and town. The facility, warmed by the Etruscan sun and caressed by a scented sea breeze carrying a unique blend of salt and pinewood, is immersed in Maremma’s peaceful countryside. The agritourism will welcome you with its cosy and informal ambiance; the countryside and a vast relaxing garden featuring a swimming pool surround the former farm house.

The accommodation

The agriturismo comprises two different buildings: The first, Roseto, is a farmhouse which has been converted into a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner and 4 apartments, all fully renovated and furnished in pastel tones in the lounge area, with natural wood furniture and wrought iron beds in the bedrooms.

Each of the two two-roomed flats, “Rosa Antico” (Old rose) and “Bianco Panna” (Cream) is made up of a large double bedroom, bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette and sofa bed, and can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. The “Bianco Panna” flat is also fitted for accommodating disabled guest.

Each of the 2 three-roomed flats: “Beige” and “Verde Salvia” (Sage green) are made up of 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette and sofa bed, and can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children.

All flats have independent access and garden, vast and airy pergola with table and chairs, barbecue grill, air conditioning and satellite TV. The facility is surrounded by around sq.m. 3000 of land featuring a garden and a suitably equipped 6x12 swimming pool.

The second building, Podere Corte alle Rose, is a second two-storey farmhouse, located 1.5 km from the first.

On the ground floor you’ll find 2 two-room apartments, Azzurro and Giallo, 3+1 and 2+1 beds respectively, comprising a spacious double bedroom, bathroom with shower, and lounge with kitchenette and sofa bed.

On the upper floor you’ll find the Fuxia apartment, with 2 double bedrooms and one triple, two bathrooms and a lounge with kitchenette.

All apartments enjoy independent access and their own private gardens, spacious and airy verandas with tables and chairs, barbecues, air conditioning, satellite TVs and access to the communal washing machine. Guests also have access to a second 8x4 metre swimming pool nestled in the olive grove surrounding the house.

At the agriturismo, guests can purchase typical local produce such as oil, wine and veal, and all guests receive a homemade sweet treat as a welcome gift on arrival.

All guests are invited to the agriturismo’s “group dinners”, held in a lounge in the owners' home or outside under the gazebo, sharing the agriturismo experience with other guests in a family setting.

The owners can also take your little ones to meet the farm animals, from dogs to cats and Chianina cattle.

For those who want to stay away from everyone for a few days, the property is located in the countryside far from everything, a place to meet with their loved ones without being distracted by anything. The well-appointed clean apartment does not lack anything. The in-house restaurant is home to the Maremma farmhouse, very good. Near the sea, we recommend Principina by the sea, there is free parking (at least at the end of June) if you walk a bit you will find little beaches. Windy coast.

    "authentic moments"

    06/13/2018

I was traveling to Grosseto for business reasons and I stayed at Il Roseto farm. I found the apartment well furnished, spacious and comfortable, as well as clean. I had dinner every night with Marco and his family, appreciating the goodness and genuineness of the food prepared with love by his mother. The friendliness of each person in his family made me feel comfortable making me feel at home, spending authentic moments. I will gladly return on vacation with my family!

Pleased to meet you, I am Marco and I am 44 years old.

I have been managing Corte Alle Rose since 2001 along with my family.

As well as we cook for the guests, we welcome the guests, we rear the animals.

It was a desire to to keep the family business alive which led me to run an agriturismo.

Our guests especially appreciate the warm family welcome.
