The agriturismo
Family management, located in Maremma park, 10 minutes from the sea. It consists of 2 completely independent apartments (2 rooms and 3 rooms) and complete with every comfort or accessory: porch, extra hot shower outside. From there, besides beautiful sunsets, you can enjoy the classic hilly landscape (wild boars and deer included) adjacent to the sea in the Maremma area. In addition, our guests can appreciate or interact with all the agricultural and oenological activities carried out, such as the management of the home garden, the vintage, the olive harvesting or the winemaking that only takes place by embellishing L 'Grape with other fruits or honey. You can also pick up the vegetables and cook them with our help to relive the flavors of one time.
The accommodation
Just 12 km from Grosseto and a stone?s throw from the Maremma Nature Park, the agriturismo was one of the farms allocated by the former ?Ente Maremma? to rural families in order to develop agriculture in the region, and has always been family run.
Originally dedicated to rearing sheep, today the farm mainly cultivates fruit and vegetables, vines and olive trees.
The main nucleus of the agriturismo, just 30 metres from the owners? house, comprises of two guest apartments with air conditioning, TVs and Wi-Fi:
- Il Fico d'India offers two bedrooms, a lounge-kitchen with sofa and dishwasher and a bathroom.
- L'Acino offers one bedroom, a kitchen with sofa and a bathroom.
Outside, under the veranda, you?ll find an additional table with chairs, and in the garden sunbeds for relaxing.
The owners Zita, Pietro, Fabio and Fabiana are available to meet your every need, from providing produce from their vegetable garden and suggestions on how to cook it, to passing on local recipes, recommending places to visit and offering other general information.
