Agriturismo Il Borgo della Canapa is immersed in a naturalistic setting of extraordinary beauty, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma.
Located in Ribolla in the province of Grosseto, it is in an optimal position as a starting point for naturalistic and cultural excursions in the area.
The tourist facility has been developed trying to combine it as best as possible with the agricultural aspect, mainly focused on the cultivation of Canapa Sativa L. and the marketing of related products and the cultivation of olive trees with the production and marketing ofExtra Virgin Olive Oil IGP.
The accommodation
The property is surrounded by the countryside, among rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and of course the plantation of Canapa Sativa L.; it is the ideal place for an original and relaxing vacation in contact with nature.
The old agricultural farm dates back to the year 1887 and still you can admire in all its beauty an ancient well and a kiln where bricks were fired for the construction of the farms and houses of the community. In addition, there is an old ruin, an old pigsty that has been renovated and transformed into a relaxing place where you can eat barbecued meat/fish and drink hemp beer; obviously keeping the structure intact and thus the atmosphere and magic of times past.
Accommodation is offered in an apartment:
Apartment Jasmine (4 2 beds): the apartment "Jasmine" is very large and bright, it can accommodate up to 6 people, distributed in two rooms. It has a large living room with kitchenette and fireplace. It fully respects the style of the most classic Maremma residences, thanks to the characteristic stone facade and the interior finishes with arches and bricks. The apartment offers every comfort. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, stove, refrigerator with freezer, complete crockery, a brioches warmer, classic moka, heating on consumption for the winter period, washing machine, satellite TV , mosquito nets, linen (bedroom, bathroom and kitchen), bathroom with hairdryer.
Activities and surrounding
For grilling in the open air, a bbq is located in the garden . Next to the bbq is a large umbrella with tables and benches for eating and spending evenings with friends.
For a family-friendly vacation on the farm: aplay area with swings for younger children, table tennis, table soccer, and a bocce court.
Dinner is offered at the Braceria, a little something to get guests immediately in tune with the flavors of Maremma cuisine and the scents of hemp.
Free wi-fi service is available in the areas for guests to use.

The property is pet friendly. Pet friends are welcome and there is no extra charge for their stay.
The area also offers many attractions: trekking routes in natural oases and protected parks, important archaeological sites and fascinating medieval villages, as well as, of course, the best of typical Tuscan cuisine to be enjoyed in typical restaurants located nearby. Not to be forgotten is its proximity to the sea and the seaside resorts on the coast
