The agriturismo
In a beautiful renovated farmhouse in the hills of the Tuscan Maremma, in Pitigliano, the farmhouse Poggio al Tufo enjoys a breathtaking view, a few kilometers from Grosseto, the Terme di Saturnia and Etruscan archaeological sites.
The restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings with the exception of July, August and during holiday periods,
Pets of small-medium size allowed with a surcharge in some room's categories.

The accommodation
Surrounded by vineyards belonging to the Tommasi family, the agriturismo is made up of two adjacent farmhouses and offers 8 bedrooms, all personalised with their own name and typical local furnishings, equipped with air conditioning, LCD TV, hairdryers, complementary toiletries, digital safe and bathrooms with shower.
Poggio al Tufo and Cavalluccio rooms are the most spacious, set on the upper floor, with large balconies for enjoying the view. Poggio al Tufo is a family room ideal for 4/5 persons, provides 1 queen bed and 3 singles sofa beds. Cavalluccio ideal for 4 persons offers 1 queen bed and 2 single sofa beds.
On the same floor, the Formica room with double bed and 1 single sofa bed for children up to age 12.
In the other farmhouse, 5 rooms located at ground floor, overlooking the wonderful vineyards, some of them with patio, named as the species of vines present in Maremma and from which Tommasi Family produces great wines. Rooms Rompicollo, Bottinello and Pitigliano with 1 queen bed and 1 single sofa bed are ideal for maximum 3 persons. Room Montebuono can welcome up to 4 persons with 1 queen bed and 2 single sofa beds. Room Tintorosso with 1 queen bed and the possibility of 1 single sofa bed for children up to age 12.
Breakfast and dinner, with a fantastic view of the swimming pool and the hills, are served on the ground floor and offer traditional dishes with 0 km ingredients and tastings of Tommasi wines.
For Restaurant (available for dinner service), advanced reservation is required.
Guests can enjoy the summer 90 m2 swimming pool equipped with loungers and parasols, free parking and free Wifi available in all areas.
Pets allowed, a daily supplement is required.

From the agriturismo, guests can easily reach the town of Pitigliano with its fortress, Palazzo Orsini, the Vie Cave excavated roads, the Jewish ghetto, the arches of the Medici aqueduct, the historical town centre, the cathedral of Saints Pietro and Paolo, and many other cultural attractions.
