The agriturismo
Set in the countryside and sheltered by the splendid headland of Bengodi, the villa looks out onto the Tyrrhenian Sea and boasts spectacular sunsets over Talamone Bay, as well as wonderful views of the marvellous Giglio Island, of Montecristo and Mount Argentario.
Its location is ideal for experiencing the best of Tuscany, for enjoying the calm atmosphere of nature, the beaches of the Costa d’Argento, the medieval villages and the hills of the Tuscan hinterland, in a setting that changes constantly throughout the day: from the deep blue of the calm sea in the morning, to the golden, sun-kissed waters of the afternoon, right down to the spectacular evening sunsets, right throughout the year.
The accommodation
Dating back to pre Leopoldian times, in the mid 18th century, the villa stands between Talamone Bay and the Giannella coast, just a few km from Mount Argentario. It offers 8 rooms, carefully and individually furnished by the owner. The facility has a lift to 6 of the 8 rooms, while the other two rooms can be reached by way of just one short flight of stairs. Inside there is a dining room, where breakfast is served and other meals on request, a small library, a spacious sitting room with fireplace and a TV room.
The estate offers plenty of space for relaxing outdoors during the day and in the evening, with direct access to the public beach in Bengodi. The large square boasts a view of the port of Talamone and Giglio island, of Montecristo and on clear days even the mountains on Corsica. The outdoor areas include a pergola gazebo set in the greenery, a rose garden with sofas, and a winter garden where guests can enjoy the sun on chillier days.
