The agriturismo

Situated between the hills of Rosignano Marittimo, the farm is just 10 km from the splendid Costa degli Etruschi, in the province of Livorno, not far from Tuscany’s most beautiful art cities.

The products of the soil are the feather in the cap of the menu offered by the farm’s restaurant: typical, simple and authentic Tuscan food.

The accommodation

Guests are offered 12 bedrooms and restaurant with indoor dining room and outdoor area in the garden for candle and torch lit dinners. The fine Tuscan farmhouse has been completely renovated. The bedrooms have a private entrance, ‘arte povera’ furnishings, TV and bathroom. Some can accommodate disabled and wheelchair bound guests.

 

Outside, besides small gravel pathways, is a children’s playground, with table tennis table and hiking trails offering plenty of scope for sports lovers. There is also a beautiful panoramic swimming pool and patio furnished with parasols and sun loungers.

 

The restaurant serves typical Tuscan dishes prepared using the farm’s own oil, wine, cheeses, meat, vegetables, seasonal fruit etc. Milk milked “old-style” is a must at breakfast time. 

Activities and surrounding

10 mins from the agriturismo is the Santa Luce artificial lake, today a natural oasis of over 200 hectares and home to over 150 species. On the other side, about 11 km away, is Porticciolo di Caletta, a charming village for sea lovers.

Besides Livorno and Pontedera, at less than one hour away is the enchanting town of Volterra, with all of its folklore events.

A strategic area for tours to the finest places in Tuscany: Pisa, Lucca, Florence...

A short distance away: Parco Gallorose, small zoo and Cavallino Matto fun park.
