First of all, the apartment the Coppaio, which you have expressly chosen, was an old room where the "Coppi" containing oil were stored, and as an "ancient" building, the renovation was possible, while maintaining the architectural features of the building itself, see the ceiling with chestnut beams and original bricks and mezzanines, generally much appreciated.
Yes, the apartment is deliberately furnished in a simple and functional way.
The TV-we are in Italy-is in Italian!
There is internet connection in the apartment, if she had brought her tablet she could follow her favorite telenovelas quietly sitting at home. Alternatively, I offered her some books in the language
I am sorry that she forgot to point out that there is a pellet stove in the apartment, which, although it was late May, we turned on for her thus heating the room in a short time (of course, nothing is instantaneous!) giving her the daily cost of heating.
