The agriturismo
Just 15 minutes from the sea, Poggio Cornetto is an old stone house, part of the Gardini Estate - a large farm in the rolling Tuscan hills, which produces 11 varieties of oil, as well as rearing Chianina cattle and native Pomarancino sheep.
The traditional farmhouse offers 7 apartments of various types, all furnished in elegant Tuscan style, characterised by the colours of nature.
The accommodation
The 7 apartments feature strong colours, in celebration of the land - greens, yellows, the reds of the sunsets in the furnishings, creating a simple, cosy, pleasant elegance.
Choose from the following apartments:
Apartment 3 and 4: 45 m2 - A two-room, ground floor apartment featuring a lounge with sofa, kitchenette, double bedroom and bathroom with shower.
Apartment 1: 60 m2 - A two-room, ground floor apartment featuring a lounge with two sofa, kitchenette, double bedroom, utility space, bathroom with shower and sea views.
Apartment 5: 60 m2 - A two-room apartment spread over two levels. On the ground floor there is a lounge with two sofas, a kitchenette and a small bathroom with WC. On the first floor, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Apartment 6: 70 m2 - A three-room, first floor apartment featuring a lounge with sofa and open fire, a kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower and sea views.
Apartment 7: 70 m2 - A three-room, first floor apartment featuring a lounge with two sofas, balcony and open fire, a kitchenette, double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom with shower.
Apartment 2: 100 m2 - A three-room, ground floor apartment featuring a lounge with two sofas, open fire, kitchenette, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers.
Each apartment features air conditioning/heating, a well-equipped kitchenette, safe, hairdryer, iron, satellite TV, mosquito nets, bed linen and towels (kitchen and bathroom, changed weekly), and free Wi-Fi internet.
All apartments also enjoy their own private, furnished outdoor space with umbrella or gazebo, loungers, table and chairs.
You'll also find a communal barbecue, laundry facilities and a children's play area.
Behind the farmhouse you’ll find a small pine grove with scenic views, and the magnificent Macchia della Magona, a park set in over 1600 hectares of beautiful woodland, with 16 trails for exploring on foot, by bicycle (available for hire free of charge on site) or on horseback.
