The agriturismo
Surrounded by olive trees, with views of the Brunelleschi tower in Vicopisano, the agriturismo is nestled in peaceful Pisan countryside, a short distance from Pisa, Lucca and Florence, and the ideal starting point for excursions on foot or by bicycle.
Guests can visit the ?Rio Grifone? olive press in the white farmhouse, learn about oil production and sample the oil, along with ?vino ceppato? (pure Sangiovese wine), ?nettarina di kiwi? jam, ?cioccolina? hazelnut and cocoa cream, a selection of natural condiments, wild boar salami preserved in oil or ?rustichello? (a classic accompaniment to the typical Tuscan crostino).
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers 3 apartments.
Limone: double bed and single bed (additional bed available), relaxation corner with bookshelf.
Rosmarino: double bed and single bed, sofa bed.
Roseto: two independent entrances, adjoins Limone and Rosmarino, ideal for a group or two families wishing to spend time in company whilst still maintaining their privacy.
Oleandro: The apartment is part of a building dating back to the end of 800, which is also the seat of Agricola Il Frantoio. You will be immersed in the lush Tuscan nature. Olive trees, kiwis, vines and fruit trees form the frame of the apartment. Two bedrooms, a large living room with fireplace and kitchenette and a fantastic view will welcome you. During your stay you will also be able to know the productive processes of a real organic farm.
All apartments include a lounge with kitchenette (4 ring hob and oven), as well as outdoor tables and chairs and umbrellas for enjoying the views of the hamlet.
There is also a large communal garden, a relaxation area with tables, loungers and chairs for reading and enjoying a glass of wine, and a barbecue upon request.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo is located at the foot of Mount Pisano, where there are pathways to explore on foot or by bicycle. Around 2 km away you?ll find a riding centre and a lake where guests can fish ? then why not cook your catch on the agriturismo's barbecue?
Pisa and Lucca are 20 km away, around 60 km takes you to Volterra and 70 km to Florence. 10 minutes takes you to Uliveto Terme and half an hour to the sea at Tirrenia or Marina di Pisa.

Hi, my name is Gianluca Bovoli and I am 45 years old.
