The agriturismo
Nestled at the heart of Tuscany, this family-run agriturismo enjoys beautiful 360° views over the hills of Volterra. You’ll find a 7 hectare lake and some 850 olive trees, which form the perfect backdrop to the swimming pool. Fresh bread can be delivered on request each morning, along with brioche, focaccia and more.
The accommodation
The main house is spread over two floors with 8 apartments, each with private entrances, Wi-Fi (inside and outside), kitchen (complete with gas and electric oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery, coffee machine) and bathroom with shower. On the first floor you’ll find a 70 square meter communal lounge with open fireplace, and on the ground floor, a reception area where you can buy typical local products.
The agriturismo is a farm, converted in 1989, and on the ground floor you can still see the mangers used to feed the animals, while on the first floor, the spacious rooms with chestnut ceilings offer spectacular views.
A few meters away you’ll find the swimming pool with diving board, umbrellas and loungers, and behind, a renovated hayloft with a further two three-room apartments with private outdoor terrace. Outside, there’s a children's play area (castle with slide, swing, roundabout, ping pong, bocce) and a 30 m x 15 m grass football pitch. As well as free private parking, you’ll also find barbecues, tables and chairs, and a beautiful loggia which hosts two events for guests each week.
