The agriturismo
The farmhouse in the paradise of the Berignone Nature Reserve is ideally located for peaceful stays in enchanting and wild Tuscany not far from Volterra.
The property has 5 independent rooms on the second floor with shared kitchen and 1 room on the ground floor, to sleep immersed in Tuscan nature, surrounded by wonderful colors and scents.
The farmhouse restaurant offers Tuscan dishes with local and home-grown products.
The accommodation
You will be welcomed into spacious interiors with warm tones and a view of the natural park, from which you can spot grazing animals such as deer, fallow deer, hares, foxes, squirrels and many other of our "friends" when you wake up.
Each room is dedicated to the wonderful plants that characterize the surroundings: Mallow. Iris, Lilac, Heather, Lavender and Olive, which you can discover along the many paths in the nature reserve.
On the first second floor there is a spacious kitchen with all the amenities available to all guests.
On the ground floor, on the other hand, there is the restaurant of the farmhouse, where you will be able to taste Km 0 and local products, such as selected cold cuts, cheeses and local wines, first courses cooked with garlic, saffron and vegetables of our own production, second courses of meat always from our territory and cooked in the tradition and style of Tuscan cuisine.
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse also has a small swimming pool, where you can cool off after a day of walking and visiting art cities in the surrounding area.
The Berignone reserve includes more than 2,000 hectares of unspoiled nature, and is crisscrossed by numerous trails dedicated to hiking.
Young and old alike can explore the forest, guided by special signage and educational signs that provide useful information about the park's biodiversity.
The landscape ranges from distinctive elevations with breathtaking views to numerous streams and waterways in which to escape the summer heat.
