The farmhouse is located in the heart of Tuscany, equidistant from the cities of Pisa, and Siena, 70 km from Florence, immersed in a still unspoiled and verdant countryside, rich in natural springs and fountains, also very close to the town of San Gimignano, on one side, and the Etruscan Coast, on the other.
The sea and the coast are 45 km away and offer the wonderful beaches of Cecina, Vada, or the picturesque rocks of Castiglionello.

Nearby that can be visited are the Etruscan hypogea and the new amphitheater, recently unearthed by archaeologists.
The villa is one of 21 manor houses in the Volterra area whose construction dates back to the 17th c. In 1982 it was bought by the Mascagni Borghi families, completely renovated and divided into apartments. The owners live on the upper floors of the villa while the apartment used as a farmhouse is on the ground floor.
The apartment has a separate entrance and consists of a large furnished kitchen, fully equipped, with refrigerator, stove, oven, stocked with dishes, cooking essentials, large dining table; a very large living-dining room with fireplace, table, sofa bed. The two double bedrooms, accessed through a hallway, are very spacious and furnished in classical style. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a washing machine, hair dryer, bathtub with shower, and, the small study is furnished with a bookcase, wardrobe, and sofa for a total of 100 m2. The villa is surrounded by an ancient stone pavement bordered by flower beds, pomegranate trees, maple trees and a pome tree that fills its branches with fruit in autumn. Hydrangeas and geraniums color the summer and gardens. Dining and relaxation areas furnished with tables and chairs have been created in corners of the garden adjacent to the apartment. Beyond the ancient stone wall, many plants of tropical origin grow luxuriantly, including banana trees, bamboo, and pampas.
An elegant swimming pool: 12x6x1.54 with a large Tuscan stone solarium is set in a panoramic and sunny position.
The old wood-burning oven , terracotta stove and grill have been restored and are available to guests.
A table tennis table and a foosball table are placed in a shady position and can be used freely and free of charge by guests.
From the villa there is a unique panorama characterized by thick and lush vegetation and a striking view of the Church of Saints Giusto and Clemente, patrons of Volterra. Orchards, olive groves, vineyards, allow you to taste the typical products: oil, wine, chestnuts, walnuts and fresh fruit picked from the tree from which to make excellent jams.
The villa offers tranquility , silence and maximum comfort; it is located in the archaeological area of Volterra and with a short walk can be reached the Etruscan tombs of the Necropolis of Frontone. The property is very extensive and offers the possibility of walking in the woods and chestnut grove, unique in the surroundings, where in autumn you can collect mushrooms and chestnuts.
Near the farmhouse there are nature and archaeological trails that can be done, both walking and mountain-biking.
Of note nearby is the new amphitheater recently unearthed thanks to the work of archaeologists and can be visited by reservation. Viewpoints have also been equipped for guests where they can sit quietly and read a book or relax in nature.
