The agriturismo
The family house, after a long conservative restoration, has recently become our agritourism. Located in a large garden with centuries-old trees, it overlooks the Tuscan countryside and offers breathtaking views. It is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday, to go for walks and excursions by bicycle. You can stay in rooms equipped with private bathroom or choose an independent apartment. In the morning a rich breakfast awaits you in the garden, weather permitting, or in one of our rooms on the ground floor. Despite being in the open countryside, the property is located in a strategic location to reach the main cities of art such as Florence, Pistoia, Lucca Pisa Siena
The accommodation
The agriturismo is located in the small rural village "di Fabio", just outside Florence (35 km) and 10 km from Prato, on the first slopes of the Calvana mountains. The village of Roman origin has for generations been the seat of the farm that takes care of an olive grove and the production of vegetables, all strictly organic, and a small breeding of animals of low court. The farmhouse has several rooms and two recently renovated apartments, a perfect combination of modernity and rustic style. They are very spacious and offer all the comforts for a relaxing holiday in the Tuscan countryside. It is possible to participate in agricultural activities (on request). The guests of the rooms every morning will be welcomed with a breakfast with warm bread, jams, fresh fruit, tea and coffee, for the guests of the apartment the service is offered, on request, as an extra.
Activities and surrounding
Our farm is located in unspoilt nature, ideal for relaxation and hiking or biking. But it is close to the main tourist destinations of Tuscany such as Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, Siena, easily reachable by car or train. On your return, you can relax in our spa and taste the typical products of our land. On request it is possible to take small cooking classes.
