Between Florence and Siena, pearls of the Italian Renaissance, in the hills of Chianti Classico stands Podere Le Meraviglie, an ancient farmhouse wisely restored.

The accommodation

The Podere Le Meraviglie farmhouse is an idyllic country home such as those dreamt of by every traveller. It is both elegant and welcoming – the perfect place for combining a relaxing break with time to dedicate to yourself and your loved ones whilst exploring the fabulous surrounding area where unique artistic treasures and high quality food and wine abound. The hills of the Chianti Classico area, which lie between two such jewels of the Italian renaissance as Florence and Siena, is where you’ll find this historic farmhouse that has been skilfully renovated. The Podere Le Meraviglie stands on a hill overlooking vines and olives within the 140-plus hectares of farmland near Poggibonsi that make up the Fattoria Le Fonti estate. Accommodation includes two adjacent units – La Villa and Il Fienile (the former hayloft) which can be rented together for a total of 6 spacious double rooms and others 3 units in the centre of the farm, Dependance, Borgo and Torre.
