10/08/2018Mocine is a dream! My family of 5 adults stayed here in the middle of a multi-city European vacation and it was the perfect way to take a bit of a break after a whirlwind of activity. The grounds are stunning - the estate is huge and every last bit of it is a treat for the eyes. Concetta was perfect, completely lovely and accommodating, not to mention an excellent chef. She even took us to see the lake on the grounds which was so, so beautiful. Valerio was very funny and helpful and it's easy to see how much he loves the land and truly cares for it. The apartments were beautiful and spotless. The wine made at the estate is delicious! There was not a single thing that I can think of that was not completely perfect about our stay (except that it wasn't longer!)

09/17/2018Wow - we had the most wonderful time at Mocine! It is a gorgeous property and the folks that run it were simply delightful. Concetta's cooking was the best we had in Italy, Francesco gave us a wonderful tour of their stunning vinyards, olive groves, and extended farming operations, and Valerio was a bubbly and simpatico host. Although we don't speak much Italian and they don't speak much English, between hand gestures and a translator app, we made a deep connection with the proprietors and the property itself. The farmhouse has been completely renovated and was very nice and comfortable complete with air conditioning - a savior in August when we were there. The location is in the Crete Senesi offering amazing vistas and is a great spot for exploring the nearby hilltowns. It was always a pleasure to come back to Mocine at the end of the day. Do yourself a favor and book this property. We hope to return soon with our extended family!
