The accommodation
Tenuta Armaiolo is part of a 600-hectare farm located just 2 km from Rapolano Terme, in the province of Siena. It consists of 13 farmhouses of which three, completely restored respecting the ancient traditions but equipped with all modern comforts, are used for stays of guests who want to get in touch with the extremely generous nature of this territory and enjoy unspoiled landscapes and suggestive sunsets over the Crete Senesi, unique in the world. Walking through the many paths will not be difficult to see squirrels among the branches of the trees, run into roe deer that jump undisturbed among the fields and still meet porcupines, foxes and hawks. As in the past, Tenuta Armaiolo lives off its products producing Grance Senesi wine, olive oil, corn, maize, cinta senese, cured meats and much more. The products can also be purchased directly on site, visiting the production and breeding farms. The vast fields available make it possible to organize the natural route "of the research of aromatic and officinal herbs", as well as of the truffle. Within the company there are five lakes, where it is possible to practice sport fishing, which can also be reached by mountain bike routes. The farm offers free parking. The requested breakfast is provided with homemade products and is served in the main entrance building. A small Romanesque church is just a few tens of meters away and is used for weddings or other ceremonies. Both the apartments and the suites have a fully equipped kitchenette. Tenuta Armaiolo is located about 1.5 km from a spa with a large swimming pool and a well-equipped wellness center. the agriturismo is 20 km from Siena, 45 km from Arezzo, 40 km from Cortona, 45 km from Montepulciano and 100 km from Florence. However, it is possible to visit innumerable localities of the Crete Senesi, on which we will be happy to give you information. The pool Equipped with salt water, available to all customers staying in the various houses, is located on a hill surrounded by olive trees and can be reached on foot or by car in a few minutes compared to the more distant houses. Breakfast The rich breakfast is served at the Casale Santa Maria with homemade products and in the summer can also be consumed in the outdoor patio, overlooking the beautiful landscape of the Crete Senesi. On request we organize tastings of wine, oil, cured meats, cheeses and vegetables from our garden. We also organize natural routes for the search of aromatic and medicinal herbs, for truffle hunting and also cooking classes.
