Agriturismo Casa Rosa

Casa Rosa is a traditional stone farmhouse situated among the green hills of Umbria, about ten kilometers northeast of Assisi.

The house is divided into self-catering apartments , a single large apartment occupying the entire second floor plan of the farmhouse, two smaller apartments on the ground floor, a former stable converted into a small cottage, a two-bedroom apartment, and a studio apartment in a newly constructed building. Each apartment is completely independent, with its own kitchen and bathroom, a balcony or terrace. All apartments are simple but comfortably and tastefully furnished, and also have central heating.

There is also spectacular swimming pool, shared by the apartments.

The Cimabue apartment has a living room with sofa/sofa bed, dining table and four chairs, closet, and Wi-Fi. Kitchen with built-in cabinets and marble countertop, gas cooktop with built-in range hood, sink, refrigerator/freezer, microwave with grill, toaster, and iron and ironing board. Bedroom with double bed (or twin beds on request), closet and a glass door that opens to the back garden. Second bedroom with single bed or two double beds (on request), bedside tables, closet. Bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin, bidet, toilet. The front door of the east-facing living room overlooks the terrace and pergola with spectacular views of the valley, with table and chairs for outdoor dining.

Apartment Giotto has a living room with fireplace, dining table and six chairs, sofa and Wi-Fi, and access to the balcony with panoramic views of Subasio National Park. Kitchenette with gas stove and oven, sink, microwave, toaster, refrigerator/freezer, iron and ironing board. Bathroom with terracotta tiles, shower, sink, bidet and toilet. Master bedroom with large double bed, ornate furniture, and armchair. Bedroom with double bed (or two single beds on request), decorated furniture, wall hanging tapestry, and a panoramic view. Single bedroom with built-in closet and shelves, desk, and chair. Washing machine available in separate laundry room. Access to terrace from secondary exit with table and chairs for al fresco meals and a beautiful view of the gardens. Access to pool with spectacular views and barbecue.

Lorenzetti apartment has a living room with sofa (1 square), table and four chairs, china cabinet, and Wi-Fi. Kitchenette with built-in cabinets and tile countertop, gas cooktop with built-in range hood, sink, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, iron and ironing board. Bedroom with double bed (or twin beds on request), and closet. Bathroom with terracotta tiles, shower, sink, bidet and toilet. Doors from the living room open to the central garden, where the beautiful covered terrace offers stunning views, and a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Sleeps 2-4 (maximum 2 small children).

Masolino apartment has a living room with sofa bed (1 square), table and four chairs, Wi-Fi connection. Kitchenette with built-in cabinets and marble countertop, built-in gas cooktop, sink, fridge/freezer, oven with grill, iron and ironing board. Bedroom with double bed (or twin beds on request), closet and dresser. Bathroom with monsoon walk-in shower, washbasin, bidet and toilet. West-facing French doors, beautiful pergola and terrace with stunning views, table and two chairs for outdoor dining, and access to private pergola in olive orchard.

The Perugino apartment is a luxurious studio with a double bedroom for one person or a couple. There is a living room with kitchenette, built-in cabinets and countertop, built-in gas stove, sink, refrigerator/freezer, oven with grill, iron and ironing board. Double bed, closet and chest of drawers. Bathroom with monsoon shower stall, sink and toilet. Large terrace with stunning views of the garden and valleys, and a table and two chairs for outdoor dining.

Piero della Francesca is a lovely ground-floor apartment with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a large monsoon shower. The spacious apartment is equipped with exquisite hand-decorated antique furniture and wall paintings. The large, bright living area has a double sofa bed that can accommodate two extra guests. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer. The private terrace faces the valley and has a magnificent view of the natural park, offering a chance to catch scenes of wildlife life.

Animals are allowed .

The swimming pool is located above the house in a quiet, panoramic location, and enjoys panoramic views of Mount Subasio National Park. It is bordered on one side by lavender, local herbs and a large cherry tree; on the other, a large terrace paved in local stone, with sun loungers and chairs for relaxing and sunbathing.

In addition, there is a barbecue and a gazebo.

The property is a small farm of 40 hectares, one-third cultivated, one-third dedicated to pasture, and one-third wooded with planted trees.

Within 60 km of Casa Rosa are the ancient hill towns of Gubbio, Spello, Cortona, Spoleto, Orvieto and Todi, each with its own medieval center. Perugia, the region's capital, is 25 km (or 15 miles) away, an elegant university town with striking medieval architecture, important Etruscan remains and important works of art. To the west, Lake Trasimeno offers opportunities for swimming and water sports most of the year. To the south and east lies Umbria's wildest landscape: the forests and gorges of the Valnerina, the mountain peaks and remote alpine pastures of the Sibillini Mountains.
