The agriturismo
The agriturismo is located in Massa Martana, in the heart of Umbria.
It now covers a good 25 hectares on the slopes of the Martani Mountains. Here you can experience a true country life far from the hectic pace and noise of the city, where the Bernardi family works to offer warm and sincere hospitality to all its guests.
The farm has 13 accommodations made out of the old barn, a historic hall with a large fireplace and a museum of rural civilization. A stone swimming pool overlooking the Martani Mountains and an educational farm open to schools and others complete the farm center.
The accommodation
Fontana delle Pere is the ideal place for anyone who wants to live on a human scale, under the banner of well-being and good food. It offers hospitality in a tastefully renovated farmhouse in a simple and romantic way.
The rooms, equipped with every comfort, are located on the upper floor of the house where the barn was originally located. The old farm outbuildings have been converted into apartments with the same refined style.
The swimming pool built with natural stones is the ideal place to spend the hot summer days lying in the green mountains.
The Bernardi family is waiting for you: careful attention to hospitality and genuine zero-mile products are their calling card. Dad Enzo takes care of the production of the raw materials that are cooked by mom Serenella and aunt Rosella with an ever-changing menu that changes daily according to availability and seasonality. In the dining room Alessia and Alessandro serve schiacciate, seasoned cold cuts, homemade pastas, roasts cooked in the fireplace of the large dining room, homemade cakes and coffee with moka.
Activities and surrounding
La Fontana delle Pere is located in Massa Martana, in the heart of Umbria. From here, daily, you can easily reach rural villages, small towns, trekking routes and archaeological sites for a vacation with slow and pleasant rhythms where the watchword is "Relaxation".
The farm is the ideal place for nature lovers, it is located at the foot of the Martani Mountains. The mountains offer excursions of varying duration and difficulty.
On reservation we offer Mountain Bike, E-Bike rental serviceand walks and days in selected riding stables .
Not to be missed, especially for the little ones, experiences in educational farms.
For the family we also recommend: Umbria Activity Park, the largest adventure and amusement park in central Italy or LeoWild Park, a space dedicated entirely to animals.
