The agriturismo
FONTECICERUM is a typical Umbrian farmhouse, with the original name Fontececi, probably built in 1600 (one of the oldest in the village of Paciano), recalling in its lines the simplicity and beauty of "the austere and green Umbria" sung by the poet G. Carducci. The farmhouse, which follows the style and elegance of the best Italian tradition, allows you to enjoy the ancient taste of life in contact with nature.
The accommodation
The farmhouse is immersed in an organic olive grove and surrounded by peach, almond, fig and pomegranate trees. It is ideally located among the rolling hills of Umbria and Tuscany, a few steps from the medieval village.
It has a total area of about 350 square meters, can comfortably accommodate up to 10 peoplewith 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, double living room, two fireplaces, large gourmet kitchen, barbecue, wifi and air conditioning. Throughout the house there are bookshelves available for guest use.
Inside the main building there are 3double bedrooms and one with twin beds as well as a sofa bed. In the separate 30 m2 suite there is a large double bed and a bathroom.
The villa is the ideal destination for those looking for a holiday in the countryside, where you can learn a different lifestyle related to our philosophy of "countryslowliving", or living "slowly" in contact with nature and its fruits, away from city stress. Here guests can learn the precious arts of extra virgin olive oil, honey and saffron production.
Fonte Cicerum is managed with respect for the environment and many of the products you will use in the kitchen come directly from the surrounding area. The hot water comes from solar panels.
The Villa has staff available at all times to help you during your stay and is ideal for a family reunion, wedding or a weekend celebration.
