The agriturismo

Our villas, located between Umbria and Tuscany at 400m asl, are all located in Paciano and are immersed in an area of over 40 hectares with 3000 olive trees and a small vineyard. From our villas you can enjoy a beautiful panorama that sweeps from Cetona to Montepulciano, to Cortona and Lake Trasimeno. Our guests can taste the products of the vegetable garden, discover the secrets of oil, honey and saffron production.

In addition to biking and trekking trails, guests can discover the area's culture and food and wine, among the cashmere outlets, horseback riding classes, re-oxygenation at the spa or relaxation in 30,000 square meters of privacy.

The accommodation

The spaciousness of our properties allows us to be the ideal destination for honeymoons, family and friend reunions, weddings and more. The 4 farmhouses are located in the municipality of Paciano, a short distance from each other.

We can accommodate our guests in the following facilities:

  • Fontanaro: the main building, a farmhouse dating back to 1893 which houses two apartments (Frantoio and Leccino), each consisting of a double bedroom and a bathroom.
  • Fonte Cicerum: a large stone villa with saltwater infinity pool, large kitchen, double living room, 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Tartagli: a large villa divided into 3 apartments (Brunello, Sagrantino and Sangiovese). Guests can choose to rent a single apartment or the entire property, which can accommodate up to 15 people. All three apartments are equipped with gourmet kitchens, wifi, cable TV, table tennis, Weber barbecues and a saltwater infinity pool.
  • Fontegirasole: farmhouse with four apartments (Desiderio, Ornellaia, Sassicaia and Tignanello) of two bedrooms each and a saltwater infinity pool.

Included in all accommodations: air conditioning, smart lcd tv, dvd, ipod speaker, radio, wi-fi, towels also for pool, hair dryer, dishwasher, washing machine. Welcome basket with organic products and vegetables from the garden (depending on the season). The kitchen is equipped with all appliances.

  • Slow cooking class: during the stay it will be possible to participate in cooking classes dedicated to territorial cuisine with professional chefs.
  • Oil tasting: The Fontanaro eco-organic farm is always open for tastings, tours of the farm and the private oil mill.
    Our guests will have the opportunity to learn about and taste Fonte della Pace organic olive oil (Slow Food presidium), milled in our private oil mill.
  • Wine tasting: discover the essence of our territory through dedicated tours to discover the best wineries in Umbria and Tuscany.
  • Yoga classes: create moments of relaxation for the spirit and the body through individual or group classes with professional teachers.
  • Vespa tour: live the experience of a tour riding one of the Italian myths. Exclusive activity for driving license holders.
  • Bike tour: discover country slow living by traveling on two wheels at the perfect speed to enjoy the surrounding landscape.
  • Golf club: enjoy moments of sport surrounded by nature at one of the most exclusive golf clubs in Italy.

There are several spas nearby to treat yourself to precious wellness opportunities: those of Val d'Orcia, Fonteverde in San Casciano dei Bagni, Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo, and Chianciano with its sensory spas.

We take care of: we welcome the guests, we take care of the crops, we run the courses.
It was a desire to to pursue a passion which led me to run an agriturismo.
