Very close to Todi, known as "the most livable city in the world," La Torriola farmhouse is a country home on a human scale, ideal for tranquility and relaxation. For over 20 years, La Torriola farmhouse has been a landmark of hospitality in Todi.

Our farmhouse is located on the rolling hills facing the most beautiful side of Todi, and all apartments have a spectacular view of the city of Jacopone.

The accommodation

A small farmhouse, with only 3 independent apartments with gardens, finished and furnished with extreme care, on a fully fenced 8-hectare organic farm that produces wine and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, using natural methods and the passion of yesteryear.

Spighe: independent two-room apartment suitable for 2 people, about 32 square meters, on the ground floor. One double bedroom, with veranda on a spectacular view of Todi, living room-kitchen, bathroom with shower. Kitchen with 4 burners, oven, fridge freezer. Crockery and cutlery for 3 people, Moka coffee maker. Linens. Garden furniture. Clothes rack. On request: toaster, American coffee maker. Independent heating. Cleaning supplies including vacuum cleaner.

Papavero: independent two-room apartment suitable for 2 people, about 32 square meters, on the upper floor. One double bedroom, with terrace on a spectacular view of Todi, living room-kitchen, bathroom with shower. Kitchen with 4 burners, oven, fridge freezer. Crockery and cutlery for 3 people, Moka coffee maker. Linens. Garden furniture. Clothes rack. On request: toaster, American coffee maker. Independent heating. Cleaning supplies including vacuum cleaner.

Glicine: three-room independent apartment suitable for 4 people, about 70 square meters, on two levels. On the ground floor: kitchen, living room, service bathroom, storage room. Upstairs double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower. Private portion of garden, with garden furniture. Kitchen with 4 burners, oven, refrigerator with freezer. Crockery and cutlery for 5 persons, Moka coffee maker. Linens. Garden furniture. Clothes rack. On request: toaster, American coffee maker. Independent heating. Cleaning supplies including vacuum cleaner.

Activities and surrounding

Swimming pool: Dimensions 12 X 6 meters, depth from 1.20 to 2.50 meters. Surrounded by handmade brick pavement and a large lawn. Open: May 1-September 30. Equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs, shade canopies, sun shower. Information and restrictions: There is no lifeguard. Minors must be accompanied by adults at all times. Use of swimming cap welcome. Silence at siesta time appreciated.

Ping pong/Football: Free use.

Hiking: Hiking and biking. Just outside the gate the alley road allows convenient hikes of varying length and difficulty. Itineraries and guides available at the front desk.

Mountain bikes: Possibility to rent from a specialized company in Todi, also with UISP certified guides (by reservation and with a minimum of 6 participants) for half-day and one-day excursions.

Olive oil tasting classes: Guided by an expert you will learn to recognize and appreciate aromas and aftertastes, merits and flaws of olive oil in a convivial setting. Upon request, for an additional fee, with a minimum of 8 participants.

Places not to be missed: MONTE CASTELLO DI VIBIO: the world's smallest theater (15 min. away) DERUTA: the city of ceramics (15 min. away) TORGIANO: Museum of wine and oil (20 min. away.) CARSULAE: on the ancient route of the Via Flaminia (20 min.) DUNAROBBA: the fossil forest (20 min.) MARMORE: Europe's highest waterfall (40 min.)

Here I am with my sister, Martina
I have been managing La Torriola since 2016 along with my sister.
As well as we welcome the guests, we take care of the crops, we rear the animals.
It was a desire to to live in nature which led me to run an agriturismo.
Our guests especially like the chance to stay in a natural setting.
