The agriturismo
An elegant little farm situated on lush hillside, surrounded by relaxing green countryside. A ring of Umbrian hills, which melt slowly into the enchanting Lake Trasimeno, encircles it. The old 18th century sandstone farmhouse is the ideal starting point for a numerous touristic and cultural excursion.
The accommodation
The Le Terre di Isa farmhouse has 7 rooms and offers bed and breakfast service.
The structure is equipped with a 6x12m outdoor swimming pool (open from June to September), as well as a play area suitable for children and a fitness area for adults.
From the farmhouse it is possible to follow nature itineraries on foot or by bicycle, reaching as far as Lake Trasimeno. Many local organizations also offer guided tours to discover the area.
Those who love body care can choose to spend a moment of relaxation in our Wellness Area dedicated to couples.
Le Terre di Isa is a farm that for over 15 years has been the ideal place for those who want to share a lifestyle in harmony with the surrounding nature, even for a short vacation.
Today the agricultural and reception activities are managed by Alessandra and Claudio who, since 2017, have kept this machine alive by taking care of the old gears and adding more innovative ones to offer patrons a unique stay experience!
The ancient 18th century stone farmhouse was renovated in 2001 with the use of exclusively natural and recycled materials according to the principles of bio-architecture.
All the spaces have been carefully organized in an attempt to recreate an atmosphere of other times where the details make each room unique.
Separate collection has always been practiced here, as well as the recycling of organic waste for the production of compost and the reuse of waste water through phytoremediation. Solar panels and a photovoltaic system also contribute to making the entire structure eco-friendly and with low energy consumption.
At guests' disposal are rooms with particularly well-finished furnishings, made only with original recycled materials and period furniture.
The farmhouse is surrounded by a forest up the hill and by an organic olive grove downstream. From the latter we obtain the production of extra virgin olive oil which in 2017 was bottled and made available for purchase. "We" is the name we have given to this new oil. A name that wants to honor all those "hands" that collaborated with us in the olive harvest last October.
In addition to the olive grove, the small vegetable garden and the orchard are still today part of the main production resource of the farm: jams, aromatic herbs and vegetables.
In our Agriturismo WE DO NOT HAVE A RESTAURANT SERVICE, but we are located 5 minutes by car from the main restaurants in Magione and in the Lake Trasimeno area.
We provide all our guests with a list of restaurants to suit all palates, selected to provide you with a wide choice of local and traditional cuisine.
Activities and surrounding
Our 18th century stone farmhouse is easy to find and well connected to the main regional road network. This helps make it the ideal destination for a relaxing holiday for anyone in search of health and fitness, but also for those interested in art and the typical beauty of the famous Umbrian and Tuscan hill-top villages. Just a short car ride away guests can visit the historically famous towns of Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Montepulciano and Cortona, or simply take a trip around the delightful countryside surrounding Lake Trasimeno.
