The agriturismo
An elegant little farm situated on lush hillside, surrounded by relaxing green countryside. A ring of Umbrian hills, which melt slowly into the enchanting Lake Trasimeno, encircles it. The old 18th century sandstone farmhouse is the ideal starting point for a numerous touristic and cultural excursion.
The accommodation
The eighteenth century farmhouse built in stone was renovated in 2001 with natural and recycled materials with bio-architecture principles: it's been the ideal place for over 15 years for who wants tho share, even during a short holiday, a rural life-style.
Today the farmhouse is managed by Alessandra e Claudio, from 2017, taking care of the traditional strucutures and adding the innovative ones in order to offer a unique experience to the travellers.
Each space is organized with accuracy and details to make a unique atmosphere of past times.
The farmhouse has an olive grove that, in 2017, produced extra-virgin olive oil, today available to buy. “Noi” it’s the name of this new oil and that honors the co-working hands helping us during the olive harvest.
Besides the olive grove, today the little kitchen garden and the orchard are the main resource of the production by the farm with Jams, Aromatic Herbs and Vegetables.
Our farmhouse is eco-friendly and has a low energy consumption rate. We’ve always recycled, we use waste water treatment system by the phyto-purification and photovoltaic energy by solar panels.
Activities and surrounding
Our 18th century stone farmhouse is easy to find and well connected to the main regional road network. This helps make it the ideal destination for a relaxing holiday for anyone in search of health and fitness, but also for those interested in art and the typical beauty of the famous Umbrian and Tuscan hill-top villages. Just a short car ride away guests can visit the historically famous towns of Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Montepulciano and Cortona, or simply take a trip around the delightful countryside surrounding Lake Trasimeno.
