We spent the Easter week with Maya, Alberto, and the staff and family, and enjoyed the entire stay. The food and wine were wonderful, the staff very helpful, and the place was as peaceful and close to nature as we had hoped it would be. Alberto, especially, was very helpful in many ways, taking time to show us where good hiking trails could be found, and with Assisi and Spello and Mount Suibasio nearby, we filled every available minute.
Our stay at Paradiso 41 was simply perfect. It is close to Assisi and an ideal location to explore sights throughout Umbria. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the countryside. However, it was the people who made our stay amazing. Maya was a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and willing to help us with anything that we needed. Alberto also was also very kind and helpful to us. The agriturismo is located on the family farm that grows grain and produces their own pasta, and they make their guests feel very welcome. But for us, the highlight was the food. Maya is an incredible chef. We were planning to eat there maybe one or two nights, but after our first meal we decided to eat at the Paradiso all four nights. It was consistently delicious, and Maya's pasta with truffles and prosciutto was the best pasta dish I have ever tasted! We loved our stay so much that we hated to leave for the rest of our Italy trip. We highly recommend the Paradiso 41 and hope to return someday!
First impact an isolated, but very quiet one. Nestled amidst the greenery, in the Umbrian hills far from all the city chaos. It immediately gives the impression of being at home. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff (a great greeting to Maya and Ugo owners). Rustic and simple, but well maintained. Every day, cozy rooms are clean and clean. Buffet breakfast with wonderful homemade cakes, always delicious dinner with dishes always on top. A greeting from Damiano and Valeria.
