The agriturismo
Agriturismo Poderaccio Alto is located near Lake Trasimeno, between Umbria and Tuscany. The perfect choice for holidays and weekends filled with culture, nature and relaxation. Wake up to spectacular views, in total tranquillity. The ideal spot for a holiday discovering the region's natural treasures, such as Lake Trasimeno and its islands, and the olive groves of the green Umbrian hills.
The accommodation
The agriturismo is part of an organic farm, "Il Favaio", comprising 25 hectares of terrain, 8 of which are woodland, 14 cultivated with cereals and legumes, and 3 hectares of olive groves.
The guest rooms with views are simple and comfortable, and the apartment and the restaurant, which mainly uses ingredients from the farm itself, are located at the very heart of the farm.
A 20 kw photovoltaic system produces enough energy for the complex, while the heating is mainly provided by the wood from the agriturismo's trees, which are cut by law every 18 years. In summer solar panels provide domestic hot water.
