    "Absolutely beautiful!"

    06/05/2017

Belvedere delle Crete is beautiful. My husband and I stayed there during a two week trip through Umbria. This place allows you to truly relax on your vacation and get away from it all, but also allows you to visit some of the fantastic sites within a short drive. Our apartment was comfortable, welcoming, private and had everything we needed. Guido, the host, was actually away for most of our stay (we were a little early for the typical season) but he checked in with us regularly if we had any questions and was so great to talk with that we wish we had been able to spend more time with him. I would recommend this place for couples, friends, or families who just want a beautiful space in the Italian countryside with a nice pool and some fun games (ping pong, badminton, etc). Oh, and Guido suggested a restaurant to us which I also highly recommend - "La Panatella", in Allerona.

    "Exceptionally good"

    06/26/2016

We came home from Belvedere yesterday. It was our fourth visit there. We stared the fantastic view for hours and hours and probably we will stare the view again some day. Belvedere is in the middle of nowhere but at the same time in the middle of everything. It's only a 20-minute drive to Orvieto, an hour to Montepulciano and Pienza, less than an hour to amazing Civita di Bagnoregio. We have already seen all the must-see places, but Guido has always given us good suggestions for day trips or has recommended good restaurants. The apartments are decorated with good taste and are beautiful (we have stayed in them all). Every apartment has an own terrace or balcony with own privacy. Then there is the spacious pool area with panoramic views and the sounds of nature. You have just found the place, don't miss it.

"Great place to stay when visiting Umbria"

    05/05/2015

You should not separate the Belbedere dell Crete from great host Guido. The place itself is wonderful and quiet. Rooms are very well equipped especially if you want to cook for yourself. The swimming pool and fantastic valley view make the rest (we were to early to taste some vegetables being grown in the garden). If you would like to "taste" Umbria (wine, food, nice places to see) you should speak to Guido. Thanks to that fantastic, polite and very friendly man we had a chance to see what is really worth to be seen, eat where the food is superb and drink the best wine in Italy (with no mistakes ;). Thank you Guido! That was really great time, even though the weather could be a little bit better. To sum up: Belvedere delle Crete is a fantastic place for people who want to have wonderful, peaceful base to visit the whole region, with a super guide (Guido himself) included. (to whom it may concern we were in four: a couple with two children - 5 and 9 years old)

We have been going to Belvedere for years - and it has remained, by far, our favorite place to go for a relaxing break, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The apartments are all very well and beautifully furnished, and the grounds are welcoming - with an addition of a swimming pool for summer months. The standard at Belvedere has now ruined any other place we visit - as nothing quite compares. Excellent location - highly recommended.

    "ABSOLUTE PEACE"

    10/02/2014

Lovely place there really is peace, road traffic and is a few miles from Allerona airport, where there is a supermarket with everything. Well what about the place is now a few years I go there and I have to say that there can regenerate both the physical and the mind, silence and tranquility are the masters in the early morning and around sunset you can see deer, wild boar, badgers and all that nature offers, both in earth, and in heaven. The apartments are comfortable and nothing is missing all with tasteful furniture and fireplace, the apartment bigger to see you remain open-mouthed as the rest of all the locations of the house not to mention the owner, Mr.. Guido lovable person kind and always available for you to spend days and weeks in the best possible way. Also this year I'm going and the cottage, the one that I take is usually a gem. Let's talk a little bit of the surroundings; without long way there are restaurants where you can sample the local cuisine and game, however Mr. Guido will be happy to advise you on the best local wine and excellent wineries nearby, 17 km Orvieto absolutely not to be missed. Less than an hour's drive Mount Amiata, porcini mushrooms period September and October fabulous. I forgot Belvedere Crete is located a few miles from the three borders -Lazio Umbria-Tuscany. So you just have to choose the places to visit are many, an hour by train from Orvieto are in Rome. Finally a place to live. Hello everyone.

    "Wonderful holidays !!!"

    09/11/2014

We spent a wonderful week (september 2014) in the "Belvedere delle Crete". The house is located on the top of a hill with a spectacular view over untouched nature. Our holiday home Had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, livingrom, kitchen and terrace. We liked the typical furnishing inside and on the terrace. Its truly a lovely home. The swimming pool is large and I LOVED the vine bower near the pool. Its so relaxing to lay on the pool, in a shady place, under wine grapes ... over looking at magnificent landscape ... The kids (girls aged 9 and 16) werewolf busy swimming, playing ping-pong, shooting with bow and arrows , swinging, jumping on the trampoline ... they found many things to do and play with. Not far away there is a ranch Where They Had horse riding lessons and guided riding outs along forests and flower fields. I also want to mention did on the residence there is a vegetable garden with tasty tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and all kind of vegetables and herbes. We were allowed to pick what we needed and we couldnt get enough of synthesis delicious veggies and fruits ... cause I picked some ripe figs too ... sorry Guido - I could not resist :). The house owner was extremely friendly and courteous, recommended good restaurants (the cusine in the area is excellent) and beautiful locations to visit. To summarize: A beautiful house in a magnificent landscape, far-far away from tourists and stress. We highly recommend it. PS: we already booked for summer 2015;)

    "Breathtaking and wonderful ..."

    07/10/2014

Breathtaking, wonderful, so one can describe this location! The scent of roses, lavender ... Blessed! Read a book in the beautiful rose garden in the sun or shady corner. Delicious breakfast outside, or enjoy the local cuisine. Guido, the owner is very welcoming. You can always go to him with all your questions. Rome is sure to do as a day trip, also pretty close to towns. Biancoscopino is a cozy and spacious home. Everything is there for a pleasant stay. Large swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers for everyone. Highly recommended for those who love peace. It is the second time we stay here and look forward to the next reunion!

"A place to 'Slow down' and to relax"

    06/29/2014

We have now made for the umpteenth time in the holiday 'Belvedere' and have again this year enjoyed the stay absolutely. The 'Belvedere' is a wonderful place to slow down in order to find peace. For people who are looking for the bustle, the 'Belvedere' not suitable. However, those who want to spend their vacation in a beautiful landscape, who is willing to go to the next Ristorante also a few miles on gravel roads, who excursions makes in the environment (Orvieto example, is only 20km away and can be seen from the house), or who would like to spend reading by the pool of the house even 'lazy' days, for the 'Belvedere' just right. We had six adults and a nearly four year-old child, as well as in recent years, the elected Appartamento Biancospino. The three bedrooms each have a private bathroom and are stylish and functional. The kitchen contains all the essential things that you need in a vacation home and Soggiorno with open fireplace provides enough space to comfortably sit at the table and dine. Who wants to eat outside is very good restaurants in the area. The owner of the farm, Guido, like tips and recommendations. Guido is also available in other things with advice and practical support to, for example, if, as found in our case, comes an auto repair shop. And who wants to take excellent olive oil from the holiday home, this can be obtained from Guido. We will make next year again for sure holiday in the 'Belvedere' and are already looking forward to it.

    "Our summer paradise"

    06/16/2014

We spent a lovely holiday once again in Belvedere delle Crete. This was our third time. This time we were at apartment Casetta, we have also been in the other apartments (More and Biancospino). Every apartment is very nice, maybe Casetta was the best for us. We have travelled every time with our teenaged boys. Boys have liked most swimiming pool, table tennis and table football. We adults have been impressed from a splendid landscape towards Allerona. The photo of this landscape has been a background picture in our computers since 2009 when we were here the first time.
This place is in countryside away from busy tourist villages. However you can easily reach Southern Tuscany, Umbria and Northern Lazio. After excursions it’s nice to be back and relax in Belvedere delle Crete.
This time our friends from Spain and Finland spent a few days in the apartment More. The owner of this place Guido and the ladies arranged 4 course dinner for us. We were 8 people together. We planned the menu together with Guido. We ate local typical dishes from this part of Umbria, red wine was Guido’s own product. We could see the wineyards from our table. All went well!
If you are looking for a peaceful accommodation with beautiful landscape, this is a place for you. Wifi and friendly Guido are good extras! Grazie mille!

"An oasis of peace and Erhohlung"

    06/01/2014

The house with its three very stylish apartments offer all the comforts you would expect for such a house. The garden with the large and very beautifully situated pool is lovingly created and maintained. About olive groves, vineyards, grain fields and meadows you have a wonderful view over the valley and across to Allerona and to Orvieto. Guido, the owner of this idyll is always ready for his guests and are happy to tips on restaurants, attractions and events. We were now already for the fifth time there, but certainly not the last time - a real haven of relaxation!!

We spent a very relaxing week. In beautiful surroundings with sweeping views of the hills and the small village Allerona.
