The agriturismo
The name of the farmhouse "L'edicola di Ripalvella" comes from the small "votive shrine dedicated to St. Egidio" which is located right next to the entrance of the structure and which conveys a sign of peace and tranquility.
The structure is located on the outskirts of the small village of Ripalvella about 20 km from the city of Todi, 40 km from Assisi, Perugia and Orvieto immersed in the Umbrian countryside where you can take walks, bike rides or visit the beautiful villages nearby(Colleleungo, Rotecastello and others).
Nearby you can walk and fish around a small lake owned by the farm.
The accommodation
On the ground floor of the house is a kitchen with stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, equipped with dishes and what you may need for cooking . It is also equipped with microwave oven, toaster, juicer, automatic coffee maker, kettle.
There is an extendable table to eat there comfortably.
On the same floor is the dining room with a nice table and a very large double bedroom where there is a fireplace with a sofa and TV (also a pouf with a single folding bed).
Upstairs there are 4 rooms in all: two rooms with two single beds, one with a double bed and one with a double sofa bed,TV and 2 bathrooms.
The house is furnished with antique wooden furniture and there is all bedding and sponges in keeping with the style.
There are tablecloths and American-style tableware for outdoor dining as well.
Outside there is a relaxation area with sofas, umbrella, deck chairs, barbecue, wood-burning oven , and various areas with tables so you can eat outdoors.

Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse is immersed in the countryside and it is therefore possible to take walks with routes of varying difficulty but it is also close to many places of interest such as Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Spoleto,Todi, Orvieto as well as the many villages that characterize thisregion such as the village of Montecastello di Vibio where there is the "smallest theater in the world," the village of Rotecastello and many others where you can find many restaurants with local or revisited cuisine.
Nearby there is a riding school where you can take riding lessons that also organizes horseback rides.
There is a lake where you can fish.
Bikes of all kinds can be rented, even with an escort so as to discover the many trails for experts and beginners.
The "Seven Friars Park " is about 10 km away, and excursions with packed lunch can be organized there (there are braziers in the woods).
