The accommodation
The farmhouse San Giorgio is located in Umbria on a hill, 3.5 km from the cliff of Orvieto, in a panoramic position, at 250 m above sea level, along the road to Mount Peglia. A receptive structure active since 2000, connected to the agricultural activity, family run with echoes of the ancient, cordial, discreet simplicity of the rural hospitality. The toponym "San Giorgio" is due to an image of the Saint that is above the hearth of the common room. The house is surrounded by greenery, colors, sounds, scents of the countryside, surrounded by coppice, where you can pick mushrooms in rainy seasons, meet porcupines, hedgehogs, foxes, badgers and wild boar, many species of woodpeckers, owls, owls, barn owls ...; observe near the pond geese, ducks, germani..e see flying falcons. Magical place among mulberry trees and ancient olive trees, oaks, downy oaks, poplars, larches, holm oaks and moths.
