The agriturismo

A corner of paradise nestled among the Amerine hills, a real village consisting of multiple structures, such as a seventeenth-century farmhouse, stately suites, mini-apartments, holiday homes and of course the winery with its many concrete and steel tanks, an important structure to accommodate the grapes of the Pizzogallo estate.

If you are travelling in search of Nature, Culture and Relaxation, stop at the Tenuta and immerse yourself in the quiet of the Umbrian countryside , unique for its colours, climate and gastronomy.

You will find in the structure a swimming pool overlooking the rolling hills of Umbria, a tennis court and apartmentsequipped with every comfort. At guests' disposal there are also mountain bikes.

In Tenuta Pizzogallo there is also a restaurant where you can taste all the specialties of Umbrian cuisine, but also fresh fish on reservation.

Activities and surrounding

In the surroundings of the agriturismo you can visit various localities:

- Amelia, anciently known with the name of Ameria, is a city of very ancient origins and border and boasts numerous testimonies of its past: beyond the city walls, the interesting historical centre, with its stratifications, numerous renaissance palaces, churches and remains of mosaics.

- Narni offers the interesting possibility to visit a large number of underground environments that give another image of the city known by all for the famous Corsa all'Anello

- Orvieto, a pleasant town situated on a tufaceous hill and famous for its Duomo, dating back to 1263, with its splendid Gothic façade and the richness of the decorations and the internal chapels, is well suited for a day trip.

- Terni to see the Marmore waterfall, is one of the highest in Europe with a drop of 165 meters. It owes its name to the coloration of the rocks that constitute the jump. For the presence of calcium carbonate, the walls are white, with an effect that makes them look like marble.
