Agriturismo Del Rebene

In a landscape enlivened by roe deer, cicadas and crickets, in the heart of the Berici Hills, the family-run winery and olive farm offers organic products and hospitality in a building converted from a 16th-century hamlet, in a natural oasis, 300 m above sea level overlooking the Gazzo Valley, recognized as one of Italy's natural beauties. The farm is included in thePalladian Villas itinerary, just 15 minutes from Villa La Rotonda.

Guests will be able to experience real country life, learn firsthand about goat and chicken rearing, grape harvesting, the pressing of grapes, the scents of must and the olive harvest, while savoring wine and oil made from organically grown by natural methods.

The farmhouse offers 2 attic rooms:

Room Rosso del Rèbene: created from the renovation of the original barn, this cozy and bright room features a large white fir wood truss and doussie wood plank flooring. The south wall of the room is entirely windowed and overlooks the large porch below. From the small north-facing windows, you can enjoy views of the property's vineyards and forest. The large and comfortable double bed and two single beds allow for 4 people and even a 5th bed, thanks also to the generous square footage of over 45 square meters. Inside the room is the bathroom, finished with characteristic yellow Vicenza stone, equipped with shower and window that allows a view of the vineyards and the old bread oven.

Carmenère Suite : these are 2 adjoining rooms connected by a hallway. Both are characterized by the mansard ceiling with white fir wood beams and doussiè wood floors. The larger room (30 sq m) is furnished with a double bed and antique wooden bedside tables, a single bed, also made of wood, a cabinet with drawers and mirror, and a large 4-season wardrobe. The smaller room (of 22 sq. m.), houses a double bed and wooden bedside tables, "vintage" in style, as is the convenient wardrobe closet. The bathroom reserved for these two rooms is located in the access corridor: it has a shower and fine finishes in yellow Vicenza stone. The window faces south, on the entrance of the mansion.

Both have an outdoor garden, parking and barbecue.

The Berici Hills, a green area and lung of Vicenza, offer splendid nature itineraries, from Lake Fimon to the Lumignano area, where it is possible to admire the splendid scenery and views created by karst erosion and be in contact with a still unspoiled nature. In fact, the farmhouse is located along the Alta Via dei Berici; there are 140 km of trails connecting the territory of 17 municipalities through forests, fountains and white stone quarries. The setting is therefore ideal for trekking, biking and horseback riding.

The Del Rèbene winery welcomes guests with guided tours and wine tasting. In particular, guests will be able to relive the origin of the wines they will taste, through engaging tours, which include a short story about the traditions of the place and about the people who lived in the area in the last century, walks among the vineyards of Carmenère and Tai Rosso, visits to the winery with descriptions of the stages of production according to the natural method, and wine tasting, paired with local products, in the dedicated room or in the garden, in the shade of the great Wild Prunus, depending on the season.

The agritiurismo offers free accommodations for dogs and horses and bicycle storage service.
