The accommodation
The company, already active in the early twentieth century, is one of the longest agricultural farms in the province of Cosenza. For over 100 years, wine, oil, figs, citrus fruits, grain and flour have been produced. Everything is done with a constant respect for the Territory and Nature. The farm, in addition to being certified as a BIO, pursues a policy of sustainable development by promoting the use of eco-solid materials and alternative energy sources. Part of the buildings attached to the farm that make up the Masseria, today are used for Farm Holidays and Bed & Breakfast. In February 2016, it is reinvented through a new management, to promote convivial hospitality, to offer cuisine and local wines, to promote the diffusion of culture and respect for nature, far from noise and electromagnetic pollution. The potentialities of the place induce a project of tourism that gives value to the slow, listening, silence from which relationships, sharing and peace can arise. The farmhouse offers its guests 5 rooms, each overlooking the patio or the estate, some offering a glimpse of the breathtaking view of the surrounding greenery, olive groves and vineyards. Each room is nicely decorated, paying attention to every detail to ensure maximum reception. The rooms have exposed beams and refined furnishings, antique terracotta floors. They are all equipped with independent heating, air conditioning, private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, linens, pool towels, TV, small fridge and free internet connection. Each accommodation has separate entrance, to ensure absolute privacy and relaxing vacations. The hotel is ideal for families, with large and bright rooms that can accommodate up to 4 beds. In our restaurant we produce simple and genuine menus, made taking into account seasonal production and using almost exclusively the raw materials of our territory. We offer you a zero-kilometer kitchen, rich in recipes typical of the Calabrian culinary tradition. Recipes suitable for all palates, even the most demanding and at all ages. Many dishes and some menus, on the occasion of parties, are vegetarian (on request vegans). By reservation you can cook gluten-free and all products are traceable. What unites our team is love for what they do, continuous research and experimentation through a healthy curiosity.
