Wonderful stay in a charming, quiet and peaceful location. The perfect refuge from the city chaos.
Well furnished and very clean rooms. Very good food.
The owners Luisa and Maurizio put you at ease and make you feel at home. They love their work you can see!
Their big Mayan dog is very tender and is the icing on the cake.
The farm offers the possibility of long walks and paths and has a private grove.
    We will definitely come back!

    "Nature, silence and sympathy"

    07/29/2020

I spent 2 days in this beautiful farmhouse. A farmhouse renovated with care and with a rare sense of aesthetics, set in a natural context of valuable beauty. Ideal for those who love to disconnect mentally from the hectic pace of city life and immerse themselves in silence and nature. Finally I was able to admire the starry sky without being disturbed by the light pollution that now envelops most places even outside the city. And then what about Luisa's kind, friendly and informal welcome, her excellent and well-kept cuisine and the splendid Maya, the sweet Bernese shepherd who, if you want, will accompany you on a trip to Pizzo 'Oca from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of Bardi with its magnificent castle and the two valleys (Val Noveglia and Val di Ceno)? I strongly suggest you try the preserves and sauces produced by Luisa's husband in the farm's workshop.

    "Perfect Weekend "

    07/17/2020

I stayed at Luisa and Maurizio's for three nights of pure serenity. Ca d'Alfieri is enchanting, from the courtyard/terrace with deckchairs and beautiful views to the "middle wood" with hammocks where you can read in the shade, to the delicious cuisine. Everything has been restored in a conservative way that takes you back to the 1800's. The lavender box is a gem - former chestnut dryer converted into a suite with all modern conveniences but a historic atmosphere. Breakfast with homemade bread and cakes starts the day in the best way. Then the dinner is very good, with the local cold cuts and the Ca d'Alfieri's workshop sottoli, followed by traditional dishes but slightly revised by Luisa. The spicy sauces of the farm are also very fun to taste. In the area you can go trekking: there is a path that starts right from the Casella and arrives at the breathtaking view of Pizzo d'Oca with a walk just right challenging to make you enjoy even more a nap in the afternoon. Just 2'15'' from downtown Milan, I'll be back there soon and often. Thanks to Luisa and Maurizio for sharing your piece of paradise with me!
