The accommodation
La Finestra sul Po is the result of the skilful renovation of an old inn in the Lower Piacenza area, located right in front of the mooring of the Old Bridge of Boats that, until a few decades ago connected the Lombardy shore to the Piacenza shore.
Here the Great River celebrated by Guareschi winds its way sinuously until it widens forming a vast lake in which the high poplars that crown the banks are reflected. The structure is accessed by crossing the main bank: it is like leaving behind the frenzy of everyday life to find an ancient place, linked to traditions, surrounded by nature that here triumphs lush.
