The farmhouse is a typical alpine refuge and is located in Drego at an altitude of 1,100 metres above sea level.
The B & B roomsare located in the old shepherd's huts, are made of stone and have been completely renovated according to the traditional architecture of the place. Possibility, on request at the time of booking, to have dinner directly in the hut!
At about 25 minutes by road from the rooms there is the farmhouse restaurant, which is in the village, in Agaggio Inferiore: open on Saturday and on Sunday in base of seasons, it offers a fixed menu with seasonal products of the farm, following the ancient recipes of the typical cuisine of the High Argentina Valley.
The farm is also the starting point for endless trails close to the Park of the Ligurian Alps.
At guests' disposal, 3 cozy and independentrooms, with exposed wooden beams and private bathroom with shower and bidet.
The farm is particularly attentive to eco-sustainability: the structure is served by renewable energy produced by photovoltaic panels and heated in the cold months with wood stoves. The lighting is low voltage (12V), hairdryers cannot be used but there are usb plugs to charge mobile phones.
Camoscio Room: on the upper floor, in the old barn, with 2 double beds, one of them on a mezzanine, and a bunk bed.
Marmotta Room: on the ground floor, where once there was the stable, with a double bed and a single bed.Lupo room: on the upper floor of the second malga where on the ground floor there is the kitchen/dining room, it has a double bed and two bunk beds
Next to the rooms there is the second malga used as kitchen and diningroom. The kitchen is in common use for all guests and can be used for breakfast (self catering type), and meals in autonomy (it has a pantry, stove, sink, and wood stove).
The farmhouse restaurant is located in the village of Agaggio Inferiore, ahamlet of the municipality of Molini di Triora. It is open only on Saturday for dinner and Sunday for lunch. Renovated maintaining the exposed stone, is 20 minutes from the rooms and accommodates about 20 people. Heated in the cold months by two stoves, in the summer it is a cool place to enjoy meals in complete relaxation.
The proposed cuisine
is that of the Upper Argentina Valley with typical recipes handed down from grandmothers to mothers, inspired by Occitan culture and some dishes of the "white cuisine". The menu is fixed, fresh and prepared daily: from the starter to the dessert, only seasonalproducts from the farmare used.
