strada Pialza, 08018 Sindia (Nuoro)
Agriturismo Pialza is part of a farm spanning around 80 hectares, established in 1992.
Just 10 minutes from Monte Sant'Antonio and 15 minutes from the beaches of Bosa Marina and Porto Alabe, Agriturismo Pialza is the ideal place for a versatile, different kind of break.
The agriturismo comprises 6 comfortable double rooms, also accessible to disabled guests.
There is also a restaurant with two lounges, and a large open air terrace.
Agriturismo Pialza provides comfortable guest rooms with maximum attention to detail, developed with comfort, hospitality and wellbeing in mind. Each room has its own mini bar, flat screen TV, spacious wardrobe and private bathroom with whirlpool shower and window.
You can choose from three doubles, two twins and one room designed specifically for disabled guests.
The restaurant seats around 120 guests in two adjoining rooms overlooking the countryside, with access to the large terrace. The traditional Sardinian cuisine is prepared using the farm's own ingredients: cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables in olive oil, ravioli (homemade according to ancient recipes), tender meats, freshly prepared desserts ... a true food and wine journey.
The agriturismo is also available as a ceremony venue, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free menus provided.
The agriturismo is located in Sindia, at 510 metres above sea level, just 10 km from Macomer and 15 km from Bosa Marina.
In Sindia you'll find the S. Antonio Nature Reserve, a vast woodland area which boasts specimens of trees considered natural monuments and is home to several protected fauna species.
Sindia's archaeological heritage includes various monuments from the Nuraghic period, all excellently preserved, and almost all outside the town, with the exception of the “Gianbasile” nuraghe which, one-of-a-kind in Sardinia, is almost entirely incorporated into a nineteenth-century building near the parish church.
The remains of Santa Maria di Corte Abbey are also of particular interest. Founded in 1149, this is one of the oldest Cistercian churches in Europe, the last one built by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux.
The town is home to several other historic churches, the nearest just 300 metres from the farm - San Demetrio church, built in 1668, is still home to works of great historic and artistic relevance.
Just 16 km from the agriturismo, you'll find one of Italy's most beautiful hamlets, Bosa.
The town, which stands on the shores of the only navigable river in Sardinia - the River Temo - is an important leather-making centre, and is also famous for the processing and export of coral and fabrics and for filet lace and woven asphodel woven baskets.
All around you'll find castles and churches home to unique frescoes, popular beaches, fresh water coves and natural pools.
