In the Val di Chiana, near Cortona and Arezzo, the farmhouse is located in the middle of a 50 ha farm.
The typical stone farmhouse dating back to the end of the 18th century has been restored respecting the original style: it has so well preserved its ancient charm that it was chosen as the set for the RAI film "Per una notte d'amore".
The farm produces durum wheat, corn and sunflowers. In addition to the wine produced in the small vineyard, the pride of the farm is theolive grove with various cultivars such as moraiolo and leccino; theoil produced at the cooperative oil mill of the 5 Hills of Lucignano has the European certification IGP. The agriturismo offers tastings of wine, oil, cheese and cured meats as well as herbal teas:
Gabriele, the owner, is also a herbalist and pharmacist.
The typical Tuscan farmhouse, immersed in the countryside, near Cortona and Arezzo, is furnished with original family furniture.
It has 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a dining room and 2 equipped kitchens.
Outside, there is a large garden with barbecue, pine forest and panoramic infinity pool.
The property offers free Wi-Fi, use of mountain bikes, digital tourist guide of the Val di Chiana (navigable by tablet and smartphone) and, for guests of single rooms, a hearty continental breakfast is included.
The tobacconist's shop is a communal area 5/6m from the colonial house, converted from a former barn with a billiardroom.
Tastingsof herbal teas, wine, cold meats, cheeses, jam and oil of our own production are available only upon reservation.
With the bicycles at your disposal you can visit the most picturesque villages of the Val di Chiana; reachable by car instead the cities of Cortona, Arezzo, Lucignano, Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, Florence.
