The agriturismo
The large farm extends for over 300 hectares along the Etruscan Coast, surrounded by expansive forests and immense meadows sloping down from the Tuscan Alta Maremma to the sea at the Golfo di Follonica.
The medieval atmosphere of the majestic noble villa, the estates at the foot of the hill, the farm animals and wild animals living in the surrounding area are the ingredients for a truly unforgettable holiday.
The farm produces olives, grains and fodder, but its main activity is raising free roaming animals.
The accommodation
The agriturismo comprises three houses: Santa Rosa, San Vittorio, also known as "Capannone" after the name of the hamlet in which it is located, and San Giovanni, an old country home surrounded by pastures on which the farm's animals graze.
Guest accommodation is provided in spacious, bright apartments, ideal for larger families and groups of friends.
The simple, basic furniture contrasts with the grandeur of the buildings and the strength of the stone with which they were built.
The plentiful outdoor space, with barbecue and wood burning oven for summer dining, the shade of the towering trees and the starry skies creates a beautiful ambience, and wonderful memories to treasure when you return home.
