The agriturismo
Surrounded by olive trees, oak woods and broom bushes, this small farmhouse, located in the hills just 10 km from Assisi and on the borders of the Natural Park of Mount Subasio, was born from the passion of the owners, Livia and Enzo, for the land where they were born and raised and for the good local cuisine, made of simple and genuine products.
One day a week we organize a typical Umbrian dinner.
For all the other days we do not guarantee a catering service, however it will be possible to buy focaccia and/or torte al testo (stuffed in different ways) to eat in the garden or in the apartment. Moreover it is possible to buy typical local products, such as oil, wine, honey, legumes and cereals.
The accommodation
At about 600m above sea level, the family-run farmhouse is a typical local stone cottage, expertly restored, which has apartments and rooms furnished by blending poor Umbrian art and modernity.
The lodgings have independent entrance, are bright and have a large green space, wood fireplace, TV, free Wi-Fi, minibar and / or kitchen, hair dryer, safe (in some accommodation). At everyone's disposal, a laundry area and a swimming pool with panoramic views over the countryside and surrounded by a large garden with wooden veranda and barbecue nearby.
In a secluded position there is aplay area for children.
In the restaurant, intimate and cozy, with fireplace, wooden beams ceiling and hand-decorated walls, you can taste the typical Umbrian specialties prepared with products of the company and km 0. In summer you can eat on the panoramic veranda.
Activities and surrounding
Surrounded by 12 acres of land owned, the farmhouse is located in the Umbrian countryside, on the edge of the Natural Park of Subasio, about 10 km from the historic center of Assisi.
In less than an hour's drive you can also reach Spello, Perugia, Gubbio, Spoleto, Orvieto, as well as places of natural interest such as Lake Trasimeno.
Thanks to the collaboration with the wellness center "Spa Nun Museum" of Assisi, just 10 minutes by car you can enjoy relaxing treatments at great prices.
