The agriturismo

The agriturismo spreads over a hill on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, on the land of the ancient Etruscan civilisation: a paradise of peace and tranquillity, where guests can relax surrounded by breathtaking views of the stunning Umbrian countryside.

The accommodation

The 30 hectare farm spreads between two hills, at the centre of which stands the carefully renovated farmhouse built from local stone and brick, surrounded by olive groves which produce excellent extra virgin olive oil.
The farm is completely organic: as well as its oil certified by the AIAB (the Italian Organic Agriculture Association), it also produces wine, fruit and cereals.

Accommodation is offered in comfortable, tastefully furnished apartments, each with their own entrance and private outdoor space. There is a large scenic swimming pool (15 x 7.5 m with Roman steps, gazebo and views of the Chianti valley), a large garden bursting with plants and flowers, an orchard, ping-pong, a covered picnic area, a barbecue, woodland trails and shaded corners.

Activities and surrounding

Lovers of trekking can enjoy a range of excursions through the forests between Mount Melonta, Mount Città di Fallera and Mount Arale. The surrounding area is home to several small towns with ancient castles to explore: Montegiove, Castel dei Fiori, Greppolischietto, Pornello.
The Franciscan convent of Scarzuola is of sure to be of interest to the agriturismo’s guests.

There are also many easily accessible artistic and cultural centres: Orvieto 30 km away, Perugia 40 km, Pienza 50 km, Assisi and Todi 60 km, Spoleto and Foligno 75 km, Gubbio 85 km and Siena 90 km. Lake Trasimeno is 40 km away.
