Pleasant and harmonious place, surrounded by woods, olive groves and meadows with grazing donkeys, the organic farm offers two stone houses with 4 independent apartments and large outdoor areas that allow you to live in contact with nature. The farm, located a short distance from Orvieto, is equipped with renewable energy systems that make it self-sufficient from the energy point of view.

In the cozy restaurant with fireplace, you can taste new and ancient flavors. Among the services, a salt-water pool without chlorine, with telescopic cover for the bathrooms in the middle seasons; an ecological sauna in a cave in the woods; a pond with fish; green areas with ornamental stones and educational farm for kids.

At guests' disposal there are 4 spacious apartments for couples, families or groups. Each apartment has private outdoor spaces.

The restaurant offers a simple and genuine cuisine using the products of our production and local companies. Our menus are fixed and we offer children suitable menus for them.

The pool with slightly salt water and without chlorine is equipped with a transparent telescopic cover, which allows to prolong the season of the baths in the middle seasons, with the possibility of raising the water temperature a little with a heating system

Large green areas, playgrounds, and the surrounding woods become playgrounds, fun and relaxation for young and old.

There is a vegetable garden and an orchard whose seasonal products are offered free to guests.

The sauna is located in a cave in the forest and is heated with the warmth of a wood fire and guarantees a very special experience. On the vault of the cave you can still see several shells that date back to the Pliocene, 3-6 million years ago.

The dining room of the Restaurant is equipped for different needs as well as tasting, it is possible to practice recreational and cultural activities: there is a piano, a video projector with a large screen, 50 square meters of tatami.

If you want to explore Walden we suggest you to walk in the surrounding woods, to go to the spring and observe the small stalactites, or to the pond to discover that you can play with the fish, or what you often like to the most peak: go to find the farm animals like donkeys, hens, rabbits, dogs and cats and kittens.

Or you can go to the discovery of the "seeing stones", the stone sculptures that have their eyes and in each one you can discover something special.

Walden is also an educational farm that offers themed workshops for schoolchildren, day trips or school camps, or interested groups or families.

In Ficulle you can buy the famous "cocci di Ficulle" from the last remaining cocciaro that has kept the tradition and visit the Rocca.

The location where the farm is located is an ideal starting point for visiting cities such as Orvieto, Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Siena or other less known centers that preserve their historical identity.
