The agriturismo
Recently renovated stone country home nestled in the Umbrian countryside of Allerona, overlooking Orvieto, near the Selva di Meana.
The estate is energy-sufficient, and covers 6 hectares (4 hectares of olive groves and the rest for fruit trees, vineyard, and veggie patch). We make excellent extra virgin olive oil, fruit and veggies with the least use possible of fertilizers and chemicals.
The accommodation
Guest accommodation is available in 3 double rooms and 1 apartment, with bathroom and breakfast room. The furniture is produced by local artisans and artists.
You'll find a farm shop, and a communal relaxation area, as well as a tasting/aperitif/snack space with tables and chairs, and a kitchen where you can make yourself a tea or a coffee.
Outside there is a beautiful garden home to ancient roses, peonies and typical local herbs, as well as a barbecue area. The swimming pool is currently under construction, and will be ready by May.
Just 3 km from the agriturismo you'll find two outstanding restaurants, La Panatella and Il Povecchio.
Less than 1 km takes you to Allerona's public swimming pool.
