The agriturismo
The farm is located in the Po Plain, red clods, poplar groves and colorful dawns. We are 30 minutes from Mantua, 40 from Verona and an hour from Venice.
In front of the apartments there is a park of 2 and a half hectares in which have been inserted, one by one, 1500 small trees. When this countryside was still entirely cultivated, here were stretches of corn and wheat, now are planted elms, ash trees, hazelnuts, wild cherry trees, jujube.
There is also a beautiful and large swimming pool surrounded by greenery of the park.
The accommodation
Hi there! We are Enrico and Giuliana Parodi and this is the farmhouse where we like to host you. Po River Plain, red plates, plums and colored suns. We are 30 minutes from Mantua, 40 from Verona and one hour from Venice, so very comfortable, if you come to visit the wonders of Veneto region.
We are also a nice place to stop for a few days to listen to the silence: for us a vacation in the green is foremost a way to repair the soul.
You have 6 apartments available. Green, Blue, Pistachio, Orange, Blue and Brown. They are all within the new technology and green building that my husband Enrico designed and built. They are brand new, comfortable, quiet, heated and lit by a photovoltaic and a solar thermal system.
They all have the same prices. They all enjoy the same view: the big park that is growing in the front. On the back they look at the sunsets in the fields, in the unalterable alternation of seasons.
Each apartment is 52 square meters large: a very large room for the living area which contains a kitchen, a large table and two sofa beds; A large bedroom with double or twin bed and a comfortable wardrobe; A large bathroom where it does not bend against door corners, but there is plenty of space available.
All apartments are on the ground floor, with a spacious and comfortable entrance, with a beautiful front lawn, where many aromatic plants grow. In addition, there is a comfortable relaxing space with umbrella, table and garden chairs where you can lie down looking at the park's greenery or reading in peace.
In front of the apartments there is our dream (one of the many, right): a park of 2 hectares and a half in which we have inserted one to one, 1500 small trees. When this country was still cultivated, there were cornfields and wheat here, now we planted elms, ash, hazelnuts, wild cherry trees and juniper trees. Now, every day, these trees grow and we have in our eyes how they will become when they will be tall, strong and wonderful.
If you have kids or a dog, then that is the right space for the games and to have fun in the open air.
I forgot, there is also a beautiful and large swimming pool surrounded by the park's green.
