Via Montiano, 767, Calisese 47521 Cesena (Forlė-Cesena) Code
3 km from the centre of Cesena, amidst the hills and with a magnificent natural lake, the agriturismo has two dining rooms serving traditional Romagna-style dishes, 10 bedrooms, a large car park and a spacious garden.
The farm uses an integrated pest management system in its 11 hectares of land and grows apricots, peaches, pears, apples, cherries and table grapes, persimmons, jujubes and figs.
Cereals and forgotten fruits (gooseberries, blackberries, Volpina pears) also used for jams have been included and various types of vegetables are grown in the greenhouses.
Guests can choose between the 2 villas (with facilities for disabled guests) consisting of 4 bedrooms or the 6 bedrooms in the old Romagna house, renovated in keeping with the traditional style with exposed stone. Each room overlooks the garden and is equipped with TV, air conditioning, telephone, Wi-Fi and an ensuite bathroom with shower.
The breakfast buffet is full of homemade cakes, fruits and natural juices, coffee and hot drinks.
The restaurant offers traditional dishes from the Romagna area: crostini or cold meat, accompanied by piadina flat breads, tagliatelle, strozzapreti, cappellacci and passatelli pasta served in earthenware dishes. Receptions can be organised for functions and weddings. Menus for coeliacs are available on request.
The farm participates in supplying fruit, vegetables and meat, such as the Romagna cockerel.
The property boasts 4 Daisies (the agriturismo equivalent of 4 stars) and has obtained the Marchio in Famiglia symbol, thanks to the services offered to families with children (from baby food to changing mats...).
At the agriturismo, children can get close to nature and animals: one courtyard is dedicated to goats, ducks, rabbits, chickens and cockerels. For grown-ups, there is a 5-a-side football pitch and a volleyball court.
At the agriturismo, guests can visit the Museum of Country Life, which covers history from 1800 onwards.
A small natural lake is populated by mallards, wild geese, Egyptian geese and aquatic animals such as carp, frogs and turtles and features trees, small shrubs and flowery meadows on the surface.
