Lying between Conero Mount and San Vicino, in the heart of the ‘ Balcony of Le Marche' (a region dominated by the town of Cingoli, from where you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Le Marche region as far as the Maiella mountain range and the Dalmatian coast), 256 metres above sea level is this farmhouse, a centuries old ‘ Casa Colonica'.
Restructuring of the house was completed in 2005 using both traditional building methods and environmental friendly materials, many items reclaimed from the original building it are used.
The country house is surrounded by ancient oak and mulberry trees - these giving the house its name. In this house can sleep up to 24 people. The hill top position gives guests wonderful 360 degree views. The house is set in 5,5 hectares of stunning grounds which include vines and ancient olive trees. The cellar under the house provides excellent storage for the salami, cheese and wine produced by the family.
The bedrooms on the first floor all have en suite bathrooms with external windows, on the ground floor a double room is available which is suitable for disabled guests. An independent entrance allows guests to freely return to the house as and when they wish. The attic in wood, 2/5 beds, with a kitchen area, 60sqm, en suite bathroom and breathtaking views.
All bedrooms have TV, telephone and the possibility of internet connection. There is a barbecue outside and a beautiful fireplace in the dining area. Local products and snacks available (to be booked in advance) to purchase. In a mini apartment sleeping 4-5, with kitchen area, fridge and sink is available for longer stays. Moreover camper vans can be accommodated in an area supplied with electricity and drinking water
At the property's farm traditional methods are used to produce grain, vegetables, fruit, wine and olive oil. You can enjoy delicious home cooked food using produce from the farm.
Guests can enjoy snacks using local products produced by the farm. During their stay guests and visitors can make use of the Country House annex. The property is registered with the EROA (the regional listing of approved agriturismos) and authorizzation municipal n.11/2006.
Guests can enjoy traditional and mouthwatering suppers with the owners of the Country House, savouring the many flavours and products produced at the house's farm.
Mountain bikes can be hired to explore the interesting routes nearby. There is a large courtyard and play area for children.
The location of I Mori facilitates daily outings to visit the Holy Santuary in Loreto, the prestigious Palazzo Leopardi in Recanati, the ancient and enchanting caves at Frasassi, the historical Abbey of San Urbano in Apiro or the Cistercian Abbey of Fiastra. Excellent opera is on offer at the famous Sferisterio in Macerata.
