The agriturismo came about thanks to the passion of its owners for nature and the renovation of an old farmhouse dating back to 1884; the farm boasts a huge surface area, a garden for relaxing under the shady trees and an area dedicated to a well-tended vegetable garden that unleashes the typical aromas and colours of traditional Sicilian cuisine.
Situated in Contrada Bimmisca-Sichilli, near the Vendicari nature reserve, the agriturismo is in an excellent position with important seaside resorts, recreation, nature and cultural destinations all within easy reach.
The agriturismo offers seven tastefully and elegantly furnished double or triple bedrooms, all equipped with bathrooms, shower and independent air conditioning. The staff offers guests professionalism, quality and a warm welcome.
The farm has a large area for campers, with up to 10 stations equipped with electricity, water and waste water service.
Guided trips can be booked for walks inside the Vendicari reserve, and by bike along the coast.
Vendicari is one of Europe’s leading reserves and is internationally recognised. Home to hundreds of bird species, it is also one of the few places where it is possible to see the typical Mediterranean maquis.
Plenty of beaches for relaxing days by the sea and numerous archaeological gems in the area: prehistory, Greek and Roman times with the Hellenistic settlement of Eloro, the Byzantine age with the Catacombs, Arab rule with the fortifications of Cittadella, the Middle Ages with the Sveva Tower, right up to the 18th century with the ruins of the Tonnara tuna fishing area in operation up to the Second World War.
Must-visits include: Noto, the Baroque capital city and UNESCO world heritage site; Pachino, with its tomatoes; Marzamemi, with its ancient hamlet; Portopalo, for excellent seafood and fine wines.
